The invention provides an asphalt composition and a preparation method and an application thereof. The asphalt composition contains at least one asphalt and at least one warm mix additive, and basically does not contain water; the warm mix additive is selected from a compound as shown in a formula I; and relative to 100 parts by weight of asphalt, the gross of the warm mix additive is 0.1-2 parts by weight. The invention further provides a warm mix asphalt mixture containing the asphalt composition provided by the invention. The asphalt composition can be warmly mixed when being mixed with aggregates as asphalt cement, and can be stored or used under the condition equivalent to the raw material asphalt; and the performance of the warm mix asphalt mixture formed by the asphalt composition conforms to the performance requirements of the mixture for road use. The formula is as shown in the description.
