The invention discloses a construction method of an asphalt concrete pavement of a skid pad. The construction method comprises the steps of (1) mixing asphalt mixture, wherein the asphalt mixture is asphalt mixture for highway; (2) transporting the asphalt mixture by an asphalt mixture transport vehicle; (3) paving the asphalt mixture, namely, carrying out joint paving by more than two pavers which are echeloned; (4) primarily pressing the asphalt mixture, re-pressing and finally pressing for compacting, wherein a double-wheel and double-vibration road roller without vibration is used for the primary pressing, a vibrating road roller and a rubber wheel road roller are used for rolling during re-pressing, and a vibrating road roller with closed vibration is used for rolling during finally pressing; (5) repairing a longitudinal construction joint and a transverse construction joint; (6) naturally cooling until the temperature of the surface of the mixture is lower than 50 DEG C. Compared with the prior art, the construction method of the asphalt concrete pavement of the skid pad has the advantages that the construction efficiency is high, the asphalt concrete layer is uniform in thickness, and the constructed asphalt concrete pavement is high in strength.
