The invention discloses a reinforced concrete composite pier with strong impact resistance. The reinforced concrete composite pier comprises a reinforced concrete pier body, ribbed reinforced steel bars, channel steel (or I-section steel), thin-wall round steel pipes filled with concrete and the like. The components are assembled together according to a design to form a novel reinforced concrete composite pier. The impact resistance of the reinforced concrete composite pier disclosed by the invention is stronger than that of a common reinforced concrete pier designed in a traditional manner, and the reinforced concrete composite pier is used for solving the problems of damages and collapses of urban bridge piers which are subjected to vehicle impact, thereby realizing effective protection of piers and maximum protection of people on a vehicle.
