The invention provides a novel middle supporting device of a large-tonnage bridge girder erection machine. The novel middle supporting device comprises a front supporting leg and a rear supporting leg located behind the front supporting leg. The front supporting leg comprises a front supporting leg upper beam. The left side and the right side of the bottom face of the front supporting leg upper beam are each connected with a supporting piece in a rotating mode through a corresponding front hinge. The left side and the right side of the top face of the front supporting leg upper beam are each provided with a front sliding way in the left-right direction. The front sliding ways are internally connected with front trays in a sliding mode. The front supporting leg upper beam is provided with front transverse moving drive oil cylinders for driving the front trays to slide along the corresponding front sliding ways, and the front trays are provided with front carrier roller supporting mechanisms.
