The invention discloses a building mortar antifreeze agent and a preparation method thereof. The building mortar antifreeze agent is a mixture composed of cement, fine sand, an early strength agent and a curing agent according to a weight ratio of 3:1:2:0.5. The preparation method includes following steps: feeding the cement and the fine sand in a stirrer according to the weight ratio in the component formula, stirring the components for 30 min for mixing the components, adding the early strength agent with stirring for 20 min, and adding the curing agent with stirring for 30 min until the mortar is formed. The building mortar antifreeze agent can completely solve a problem that a building cement mortar is freeze and powderily falls-off in winter.
