The invention discloses a method for preparing a desulfurization gypsum and cotton stalk fibre composite wall material and belongs to the field of building material preparation. Aiming at the low utilization problem of the current desulfurization gypsum and the cotton stalk, a method for preparing a wall material by applying the cotton stalk to the desulfurization gypsum is provided. By means of doping the cotton stalk in the desulfurization gypsum as a reinforced material, the desulfurization gypsum and cotton stalk fibre composite wall material is prepared. The method is simple in process; the resource utilization of the desulfurization gypsum and cotton stalk can be realized; the breaking strength and the compressive strength of the composite wall material are respectively 9.0 MPa and 16.6 MPa. The composite wall material has a good insulation performance and an application future.
