The invention discloses a defense building method for preventing seepage and collapse of a reservoir dam. A plurality of round holes of 3-meter depth are drilled in the dam, the round holes are filled with cement mortar, and round timber piles are buried at the positions 5 meters away from the round holes, loess is put on the round timber piles and the round holes to be tamped, stone blocks are laid on the loess, and cement is injected into gaps. By means of the defense building method, defense capacity of water wave impact can be improved, cement and stone material using amount can be reduced, and labor number is decreased. Therefore, construction progress is accelerated, and engineering construction cost is reduced.
