The invention discloses a magnesium electrolysis potroom insulating method and a three-stage insulating structure thereof. The magnesium electrolysis potroom insulating method comprises, firstly, placing a fabricated insulating sheath into a pot; secondly, mounting main plant bent frame columns and platform precast columns into the insulating sheath, filling insulating materials between the main plant bent frame columns as well as the platform precast columns and the insulating sheath and between the insulating sheath and the pot; thirdly, placing insulating plates on the brackets of the main plant bent frame columns and the top of the platform precast columns, wherein the insulating plates are made of diabase glass-ceramic plates with high insulating and compressive properties, and supporting formwork to cast reinforced concrete floor beams and an operating platform; lastly, constructing an insulating acid-resisting face layer on the constructed operating platform. The magnesium electrolysis potroom insulating method greatly improves the insulating performance, the compressive strength and the acid resistance of the operating platform, enables the operating platform, the plant columns and the platform columns of a magnesium electrolysis potroom to be reliably insulated with the ground and ensures the production safety of electrolysis operators. The magnesium electrolysis potroom insulating method and the three-stage insulating structure thereof are simple in structure, economical, practical and convenient to construct.
