The transverse bracket extension device of the movable parking device comprises a vertical support column, a flange, a motor base, a motor, an elastic coupling, a lead screw, a fixed bracket, a nut, a nut base, a retainer ring, a movable bracket, a limiting switch 1, a limiting switch 2 and a controller, wherein the fixed bracket is connected with the vertical support column through the flange; the motor is mounted in an inner cavity of the fixed bracket; and the lead screw and the motor are connected through the elastic coupling. The nut base and the nut are mounted in the inner cavity of the movable bracket. The fixed bracket and the movable bracket are connected and driven through a lead screw movement pair; and the rotating movement of the motor is converted to the reciprocating movement of the movable bracket. The transverse bracket extension device of the movable parking device is simple in structure and strong in practicability, realizes the movement function of a stereo garage through the extension movement of the bracket, and has broad application prospect.
