The invention discloses a novel intelligent electric meter, which comprises an electric meter body, wherein the electric meter body is mounted in an antitheft box; the antitheft box comprises a hinged door connected with pull-push rods; the pull-push rods are driven by a motor to open and close the hinged door; the motor is powered by a storage battery, and receives a control signal through an infrared receiver; a display screen is arranged on the electric meter body; an observation window for observing the content on the display screen of the electric meter body is correspondingly arranged on the hinged door; at least two groups of sliding rails are arranged at the bottom of the antitheft box; correspondingly, sliding chutes are formed in the bottom of the electric meter body; the electric meter body is mounted in the antitheft box through the sliding chutes and the sliding rails; the electric meter body further comprises a wiring terminal arranged on the lateral surface of the electric meter body; an electric brake is further mounted in the antitheft box.
