The invention belongs to the technical field of traffic dispatching control, and particularly provides a traffic crossing jam remission method and device. The device comprises an automatic door and a passing roadblock; through traffic lights, the condition that whether the passengers are allowed to pass or not is determined; when the passengers are not allowed to pass, the passengers cannot enter the crossing; when the passengers are allowed pass, the automatic door is opened, the passengers enter the crossing and the passing roadblock ensures the passing safety of the passengers. According to the method and device provided by the invention, the passengers and the vehicles can be separated, so that the crossing jam caused by the behaviors of individual passenger or driver can be avoided, the passing safety of the passengers can be ensured and the traffic accidents can be decreased.
