The invention relates to a pedestrian overcrossing bridge pier, in particular to a leaf bud type bridge pier. The leaf bud type bridge pier comprises a foundation bearing platform, wherein an anchoring embedded part is embedded into the foundation bearing platform and is welded with the bottom ends of steel tube concrete pier studs; anchoring bolts are arranged on the surface of the bottom end of each steel tube concrete pier stud; an anchoring bearing platform is poured at the bottom ends of the steel tube concrete pier studs; a stressed beam is arranged between every two adjacent steel tube concrete pier studs; a rubber supporting seat is arranged on each stressed beam; a reinforced steel plate is arranged at the part, positioned at the lower end of each rubber supporting seat, of the corresponding stressed beam. The bridge pier is integrally stressed, the pier studs can be integrally and uniformly stressed by virtue of the design of all construction details, the vertical load of a main beam is borne together, theoretic stress is matched with design stress, the shape and the structure of an urban pedestrian overcrossing are integrated in the shape design, and the leaf bud type bridge pier is attractive, practical, and worthy of popularization.
