The invention discloses a novel hollow plate hinge joint structure and a construction method thereof. The novel hollow plate hinge joint structure comprises a plurality of hollow plates, hinge joints and a bridge deck cast-in-situ layer, wherein each hinge joint is formed between the corresponding two hollow plates; the bridge deck cast-in-situ layer is arranged at the upper parts of the hollow plates and the hinge joints; a transverse bending-resistant steel bar and a transverse lapping steel bar are embedded into the side surface of each hollow plate; an anchor steel bar is embedded into the top surface of each hollow plate; the side surface and the top surface of each hollow plate are coated with chemical adhesives; a longitudinal bending-resistant steel bar and a hoop are arranged in each hinge joint; a longitudinal bridge deck rib and a transverse bridge deck rib are arranged at the lower edge of the bridge deck cast-in-situ layer. Novel hinge joints facilitate concrete vibration, and the construction quality can be effectively guaranteed; the bending resistance and the crack resistance are achieved in the longitudinal and transverse directions of a bridge, and the integrity and the durability of the structure are effectively guaranteed. The hidden dangers of cracking and failure of conventional hinge joints are fundamentally eliminated, the management cost and the maintenance cost during the later operation period are reduced, and the construction method is simple, convenient and practical.
