A model box is mounted in a rigid bracket; a camera and two main beams are arranged on the rigid bracket; main beam guide rails are arranged on the main beams; a main beam screw parallel to the main beam guide rails is mounted on one main beam and is connected with a main beam motor; two primary secondary beams are perpendicularly arranged on the two main beam guide rails to form a sliding pair; secondary beam guide rails are arranged on the secondary beams; a main beam side nut arranged in the main beam screw is connected with one of the primary secondary beams; one of the primary secondary beams is provided with a secondary beam screw parallel to the secondary beam guide rails; the secondary beam screw is connected with a secondary beam motor; two auxiliary secondary beams are perpendicularly arranged on the two secondary beam guide rails to form a sliding pair; an electric hoist is mounted in an electric hoist bracket on the two auxiliary secondary beams. The foundation pit excavation simulation device is suitable for foundation pit excavation of a foundation pit engineering supergravity model test under a non-stopping state; the stress on a soil body at the bottom of a pit is actually consistent with the pressure of the soil body side on a supporting and protecting structure.
