The invention discloses a parking system over a road. The parking system over the road comprises the urban road, wherein supporting columns are fixedly installed on two sides and the middle of the urban road, are obliquely arranged and are of steel structures or reinforced concrete structures, a parking platform for parking automobiles is installed at the tops of the supporting columns and is of a rectangular structure, a protective fence is arranged on the periphery of the rectangular parking platform, and two automobile lifters and two passenger elevators are respectively installed at four corner positions on the parking platform. The automobile lifters and the passenger elevators are respectively installed at four corner positions on the parking platform in the parking system, so that parking of a driver is facilitated, distribution of passengers and vehicles is achieved, and potential safety hazards are decreased.
