The invention discloses an environment-friendly monument. The environment-friendly monument comprises a base body and a monument body, wherein the monument body is arranged on the base body, and a bone ash adhesive plate made of bone ash is arranged on a side wall of the monument body. The invention further provides a manufacturing method of the environment-friendly monument. The manufacturing method comprises the following steps of: S1, manufacturing the satisfactory monument body and a satisfactory base; S2, installing the monument body on the base; S3, manufacturing the bone ash adhesive plate with the bone ash and adhering the bone ash adhesive plate to the side wall of the monument body. According to the environment-friendly monument and the manufacturing method thereof, places where columbarium is arranged are not needed to be developed, so that occupation of land is reduced, ecological environment damage is reduced, and use of land is reduced, thus financial burdens of family members are reduced.
