The invention discloses an auxiliary system for monitoring safety of a region between a platform safety door and a vehicle door and a realization method of the auxiliary system. The system comprises an image display module for displaying on a large screen by regions, a main controller connected with trackside equipment, and a video image monitoring unit with a template memorizer at a safety door, which are connected with one another; the system is characterized in that the memorizer is provided with basic and field templates, and a self-checking image storage region; an image of the self-checking image storage region is compared with characteristics of the basic template, and whether a video image monitoring unit has fault and field template extraction or not is judged; after the safety door is closed, a collected image is compared with the field template to monitor whether obstacles exist or not; a display screen is used for displaying the image by regions, and the image transmitted by the video image monitoring unit displayed by the same region further comprises alarming information; when the obstacles exist, opening and closing information that the safety door is closed is captured to signal vehicle-mounted equipment so as to prevent a train from departure; after a door closing instruction is sent out, a driver and platform workers observe the display to determine whether the obstacles exist or not, and the anti-clamping reliability is improved.
