Nonylphenol dialkyl dihydrophilic Gemini type surfactant synthesis
Intermediate bis (2-hydroxy-5-nonyl phenyl) methane can be prepared by condensation reaction of nonyl phenol and formaldehyde as raw materials, the bis (2-hydroxy-5-nonyl phenyl) methane is reacted with epichlorohydrin and triethylamine to synthesize novel gemini cationic asphalt emulsifier bis [5-nonyl-2-((2-hydroxy-3-triethyl ammonium chloride) propoxy phenyl) methane, and the determined optimum synthesis process conditionsare as follows: nonyl phenol and formaldehyde are mixed in the molar ratio of 2:1.05, methanol as a solvent is added with a small amount of an organic weak amine as a catalyst for stirring for reaction for 4h at 40 to 50 DEG C, and then is heated to 80 DEG C to continue to react for 2 h; after cooling to below 40 DEG C, triethylamine is added while keeping the molar ratio of epichlorohydrin to triethylamine in 1:1.1, epichlorohydrin is added dropwise while keeping the molar ratio of nonyl phenol to epichlorohydrin in 1:1.1, and then the system is heated to 70 DEG C for reaction for 3H. The performance test shows that the newly synthesized emulsifier has good emulsifying ability, the various performances of the obtained emulsified asphalt can be completely in accordance with the national standard, and the emulsifier belongs to a middle-cracking asphalt emulsifier.
