The invention relates to a guard bar and particularly discloses a highway isolation guard bar. The highway isolation guard bar comprises a guard bar body, and is characterized in that a plurality of protection frames are arranged on the guard bar body in a cross manner, and the protection frames are inclined to the direction of coming vehicles. A plurality of transverse rods are arranged in the protection frames, vertical rods are arranged at two ends of the protection frames, compression springs are arranged between the vertical rods and the protection frames, the vertical rods are connected with the transverse rods in a sliding manner, and an included angle being 45 degrees is formed between the protection frames and the guard bar body. Vehicles cannot break through the isolation guard bar and rush to the opposite driveway easily, and thus damage caused by traffic accidents is effectively reduced.
