The invention discloses a connecting device for buildings. The connecting device a sleeve rod, wherein a grab handle is arranged at one end of the sleeve rod; a positioning column is arranged at the other end of the sleeve rod; a free end is arranged at the end part of the positioning column and is trumpet-shaped; a through hole is formed in the axis-center position of the free end; a fastening device is mounted on the sleeve rod in a sleeving manner, and is arranged between the grab handle and the positioning column; a spring is arranged between the fastening device and the grab handle; an anti-skid nut is arranged on the peripheral surface of the fastening device; a convex cap made of rubber is arranged at the head part of the fastening device; a blocking piece is arranged in the convex cap; and a cavity is formed between the blocking piece and the convex cap. According to the connecting device, a pipe sleeve is conveniently mounted in the sleeve rod, the pipe sleeve can be pressed firmly and stronger extrusion force can be formed to press the pipe sleeve.
