The construction method of the beam string structure of the roof is characterized by comprising the steps that fem simulation analysis of the beam string structure is conducted, a jig frame on the ground is spliced, first-stage tension is conducted on the ground, each single frame of the beam string structure is hoisted, secondary beams are filled and installed, second-stage tension of the beam string structure and locking are conducted, and steel structure coating is conducted, wherein a whole model of the beam string structure is established through fem simulation analysis, and analogue simulation calculation is conducted on the whole construction process. According to the construction method, the internal space of a gymnasium is utilized to conduct splicing of the beam string structure on the ground, to conduct first-stage tension so as to form an initial stable structure, and to conduct single frame beam integral hoisting, so that cross construction between the region and other regions is reduced, construction can be closer to the hoisting position, and the requirement for hoisting machinery is reduced; the working conditions in the construction process are analyzed through fem simulation analysis, and the situation that internal force of the beam string structure cannot exceed the requirement limited by a design specification is guaranteed.
