The imitation wood grain decorative plate is prepared from the following raw materials in parts by weight: 40 to 60 parts of ardealite, 10 to 16 parts of coal ash, 10 to 14 parts of cement, 15 to 24 parts of yellow phosphorus slag, and 1 to 4 parts of calcined lime. The invention has the advantages that the imitation wood grain decorative plate is maintained under the condition that the pressure is 0.3 MPa, and the steam temperature is 128 to 132 DEG C, so that the quality and the finished product yield of the imitation wood grain decorative plate are remarkably improved, and low energy consumption, high productivity and low investment are achieved; meanwhile, through the maintenance method, the shrinkage rate of a base material in a dry environment and the expansion rate of the base material in a water-soaked environment are remarkably reduced, the compressive strength of the base material is enhanced, and the service life of the base material is prolonged.
