The invention relates to a viaduct crosswind-prevention metal net arranged above guardrails on the two sides of a viaduct pavement and used for preventing crosswind and thrown objects. The metal net comprises a concrete foundation, two supporting plates arranged on the concrete foundation and a metal net body. The two supporting plates are oppositely fixed to the two ends of the concrete foundation, the metal net body comprises a net foundation and a net surface which are connected, the net foundation is fixedly connected with the concrete foundation through screws, the net surface is a grid net surface, the lower potion of the net surface is fixed to the net foundation, the two sides of the net surface are fixed to the supporting plates, and the porosity of the net surface ranges from 45% to 55%. Compared with the prior art, the metal net has the advantages of being economical, efficient, reliable, multifunctional and the like.
