The invention discloses a preparation method of an alkali-free liquid accelerator for shotcrete. The preparation method of the alkali-free liquid accelerator comprises the following steps: 1, adding 40-45% of aluminum sulfate, 2-4% of magnesium fluorosilicate and 45-50% of water into a container, and stirring while heating until complete dissolution; and 2, adding 1-2% of beta-hydroxybutanoic acid, 0.5-3% of polyacrylamide, 0.01-0.03% of a high-molecular tackifier and 1-2% of an amino high efficiency water reducer, reacting, and cooling to obtain the alkali-free liquid accelerator. The alkali-free liquid accelerator has good adaptability with different cements, and can be used for spraying construction of different kinds of cement. The alkali-free liquid accelerator has good adaptability with high efficiency water reducers, and proper improvement of the mixing amount of the accelerator or reduction of a water/cement ratio makes the setting time meet a construction requirement.
