The invention belongs to traffic passage three-dimensional frameworks of intersections, and provides an urban expressway without traffic lights by aiming at the present situation that the urban traffic jam is serious. The urban expressway comprises a first intersection, a second intersection, a third intersection and a fourth intersection, wherein the first intersection is arranged opposite to the third intersection, and the second intersection is arranged opposite to the fourth intersection; a left turn lane, a straight lane, a turnaround lane and a right turn lane are arranged at each intersection; the right turn lane of each intersection is arranged on the ground; the straight lane of each intersection is designed into an elevated road and is arranged in a staggered manner up and down; the left turn lanes and the turnaround lanes of the opposite two intersections are arranged on the same layer; and the straight lanes of the opposite two intersections are arranged on the same layer. The urban expressway provided by the invention solves the problem of serious present urban traffic jam, each lane is appropriate in traffic diversion and cannot cause jams, traffic accidents seldom happen, unnecessary energy consumption and tail gas emission are reduced, energy demands are reduced, and the travel time of people on roads is reduced, so that the urban expressway is strong in practicability.
