The invention discloses a construction method for an underground variable-cross-section pile column. The method includes the following steps that first, hole drilling is performed from a construction face, and a pile foundation reinforcement cage is placed downwards segment by segment; second, after the final segment of the pile foundation reinforcement cage is placed in a hole, the reinforcement cage is fixed to the construction face through pin bolts; third, a reinforcement net piece is arranged on the top of the pile foundation reinforcement cage; fourth, a pile column reinforcement cage is placed, and the bottom of the pile column reinforcement cage is arranged on the reinforcement net piece; fifth, a pile column formwork is placed in, and the bottom of the pile column formwork is arranged on the reinforcement net piece and arranged on the outer side of the pile column reinforcement cage; sixth, the integrated structure generated in the fifth step is placed in continuously till the integrated structure reaches the bottom of the hole, and the upper end of the pile column reinforcement cage is fixedly arranged on the construction face; seventh, concrete is poured so that a foundation pile and the pile column can be formed. The construction method has the advantages that construction is convenient, the structure is firm, and the construction method can be used for construction of the underground variable-cross-section pile column.
