The invention discloses an expressway rainwater collecting and purifying system which comprises a water collecting ditch, a ditch cover plate, a water collecting pipe, a sand filtering processing well, a filtering plate, a water pump, a grass planting ecological side ditch and a reservoir. Rainwater on the expressway pavement flows into the water collecting ditch, the water collecting pipe with holes is laid on the lower portion of the water collecting ditch and connected with the sand filtering processing well, the sand filtering processing well is paved with the filtering plate to filter rainwater, the filtering plate and the grass planting ecological side ditch are connected to filter the rainwater again, and the rainwater then flows into the reservoir connected with the grass planting ecological side ditch. By means of the expressway rainwater collecting and purifying system, rainwater on an expressway can be well collected and utilized, the reclamation and utilization of the rainwater can be achieved, and the issue of damage to the pavement foundation structure by pavement accumulated water, runoff pollution, surface permeation and the like can be relived to a certain extent.
