The invention relates to a cable maintenance ladder, which comprises a main ladder, wherein the main ladder comprises two vertical rods, wherein a group of cross rods is evenly distributed between the two vertical rods; the inner side of each vertical rod is connected with an extension vertical rod in a sliding manner; a groove is formed in the inner side of each extension vertical rod; a group of support plates is evenly distributed in each groove; the support plates in the two extension vertical rods are correspondingly matched with each other; a fixed beam is respectively overlapped with two corresponding support plates; the corresponding side surfaces of the two vertical rods are connected with a first support rod through a hinge seat; and the corresponding side surfaces of the two extension vertical rods are also connected with a second support rod through a hinge seat; and the lower side of each second support rod is movably connected with an extension support rod. The cable maintenance ladder provided by the invention is relatively simple in structure, small in volume, easy to store, retractable, can be applicable to cables with different heights, and does not need to be supported by foreign personnel when used, so that manpower resources are saved; and the ladder is convenient to use, high in stability and safety.
