The invention relates to an extension assembly type self-floating pier collision-preventing device which is arranged on the periphery of a pier. The device comprises a plurality of collision-preventing assemblies connected end to end and a unit supporting body for limiting all the collision-preventing assemblies. Each collision-preventing assembly comprises a plurality of collision-preventing units arranged in an orthogonal mode. The collision-preventing units between the adjacent collision-preventing assemblies are fixedly connected through horizontal connecting parts. The multiple collision-preventing units in the vertical direction in the collision-preventing assemblies are fixedly connected through vertical connecting parts. The unit supporting body and the multiple collision-preventing units are arranged in parallel. Compared with the prior art, the collision-preventing device has the advantages of being low in cost, low in manufacturing cost, good in collision-preventing performance, large in buoyancy, good in durability and stability and the like, and the extension structure is adopted.
