The invention discloses a method for controlling the quality of a rotary excavating pile under a water-rich sand layer condition. The method comprises the following steps that (1) high-viscosity slurry is prepared; (2) a protection cylinder is embedded, and a drilling machine is arranged in place; (3) drilling and hole forming are conducted on the upper portion of a sand layer, and the high-viscosity slurry is fed into a hole in the drilling process; (4) a slurry storage device is installed at the top of the pile, and the high-viscosity slurry is poured into the slurry storage device to the elevation of the designed liquid level; (5) a drilling bucket of the drilling machine penetrates through the slurry storage device and then slowly descends to the excavating surface; (6) the drilling bucket slowly cuts soil and drills in by a certain distance, idles in situ with dregs and then slowly ascends and discharges the dregs; (7) the step (5) and step (6) are repeated till the hole is formed in the lower portion of the sand layer. The method solves the problem that a drilling bit excessively scratches and disturbs when rotary excavating is carried out in the formed hole, and consequently hole collapse is caused; by means of the high-viscosity slurry which is reasonably prepared, the wall protection effect is improved, the movement of sand grains is also suppressed, the sand grains can be discharged out of the hole to the maximum, and the problem that the thickness of the sediment does not meet the requirement is solved.
