The invention discloses an axial floating barrel type negative pressure eliminator. The axial floating barrel type negative pressure eliminator is mainly composed of a housing, a floating barrel, an upper cover, a shield and an air filter membrane. The housing is connected to the upper cover through a fastener. The floating barrel is arranged in a cavity formed by the floating barrel and the upper cover and can axially move up and down under the guiding action of an upper shaft and a lower shaft. The floating barrel moves upwards to be in contact with the top of the upper cover. A sealing gasket for sealing is adhered to the contact portion of the top of the upper cover with the floating barrel. The shield is mounted on the outside of the top of the upper cover. A communication hole is arranged between the upper cover and the shield. Holes communicated with the outside are arranged in the periphery of the shield. The air filter membrane is arranged in the shield for filtering, cleaning and sterilizing air. The axial floating barrel type negative pressure eliminator has the advantages of being simple in structure, easy to produce, stable and reliable in operation, free of external air pollution and the like, is low in cost and easy to mount and maintain and can be applied to a water pump direct series connection water supply system for effectively eliminating the negative pressure of a pipe network and accordingly ensuring the safety of water supply.
