The invention provides a novel closestool to effectively expand the functions of a closestool. The novel closestool is composed of a water storage tank and a pressurization barrel. The pressurization barrel is a cylinder which is provided with a bottom and provided with no covers. The pressurization barrel is arranged in the water storage tank with the bottom facing upwards. When water is added into the water storage tank, air in the pressurization barrel is pressed by water and is changed into compressed air; when water is discharged out of the water storage tank, the compressed air in the pressurization barrel exerts pressure on the water, and the problems that pressure is not enough when the water in the water storage tank of the closestool is used for flushing an excrement tank and the flushing effect is poor are solved.
