The invention relates to a greening building structure, in particular to the vertical type greening building structure. The vertical type greening building structure comprises a base plate (1), a center stand column (2), a support (3) and a green belt (4). The vertical type greening building structure is characterized in that the upper surface center part of the base plate (1) is connected with the bottom end of the center stand column (2), the support (3) is arranged on the surface of the center stand column (2), and the other end of the support (3) is connected with the green belt (4). The vertical type greening building structure is simple in structure and easy in production; the city greening is increased, and the occupied area is small; the certain aesthetic feeling is achieved.
