The invention discloses a road paving material prepared from recombination of construction waste and electric furnace slag and a preparation method thereof. Based on total weight, the road paving material comprises 2-18 wt% of a reactive powder prepared from phosphorus slag, 25-40 wt% of electric furnace slag, 40-60 wt% of a soil material isolated from construction waste, and 0.02-0.06 wt% of an activator. The road paving material of the invention meets the requirements of road index, and fully utilizes the construction waste.
