A quick-baking anti-explosion iron runner castable and a use method thereof. The invention belongs to the technical field of castables. In the castable, a dry material includes following components, by weight: 50-75% of ruby fused alumina, 8-20% of silicon carbide, 4-10% of silicon iron nitride, 3-10% of micro powder of aluminum oxide, 1-5% of silicon micro powder, 1-5% of a composite carbon material, and 1-3% of an anti-oxidizing agent; an additive agent includes an anti-explosion agent accounting for 0.1-0.5% of the weight of the dry material and 0.05-0.5% of sodium hexametaphosphate accounting for 0.05-0.5% of the weight of the dry material; and a binding agent includes silicone gel accounting for 8-15% of the weight of the dry material. The blast furnace iron runner castable can be quickly baked, has the effect of explosion resistance, is short in construction time and is long in service life.
