An automatic device capable of regularly and quantificationally releasing a detergent into a toilet water tank is provided with a container accommodating a liquid detergent, a water outlet nozzle at the bottom of the container is connected with a small-diameter hose, the other end opening of the hose is fixed to a floating slider which moves up and down along with ascending and descending of the water level in the water tank under the action of buoyancy, the end opening is higher than the liquid level of the detergent when the water level is at high position, so that the detergent cannot flow out, and when the end opening descends below the liquid level of the detergent, the detergent flows out. The automatic device achieves the purpose of automatically and quantificationally releasing the detergent into the water tank once every flushing, only releases the detergent after flushing but not at other time, and can keep the concentration of the detergent in the water tank constant and unchanged. The automatic device radically solves three main problems of a traditional cleaning block method, is extremely simple in structure, relatively reliable in performance and low in manufacturing cost, and can be placed in the water tank due to the small size.
