The invention provides a ceiling type anti-prying safe, which is arranged on a ceiling without taking up any space and is extremely inconvenient to be stolen by thieves; the safe is fixed at many positions and retaining rings are arranged at the fixed positions to prevent the safe from being pried; an additional box body is arranged outside the safe, so that the anti-prying capacity is strengthened and the capacities against door-crashing and cutting are improved greatly. The ceiling type anti-prying safe is characterized in that the upper part of the safe is arranged on the ceiling of a room; one, or two or three of the other positions of the safe are arranged on the wall body of the room; the additional box body for strengthening protection is arranged outside the safe; an upper retaining ring is arranged at the upper part and edge-retaining rings are arranged at the other fixed positions; the safe is fixed on the ceiling and the wall body of the room by means of screws; the box body is fixed on the ceiling and the wall body of the room; through-holes for the upper retaining ring and the edge-retaining rings of the safe are formed in the safe, and reinforcing frames are arranged at the edges of the through-holes.
