The invention provides a plastic fracture-resistant silicon nitride ceramic. Si3N4, Y2O3 and Al2O3 are selected as the raw materials to prepare the plastic fracture-resistant silicon nitride ceramic by cold isostatic pressing molding and temperature fluctuated sintering technology. Silicon nitride, aluminum oxide and yttrium oxide are in a mass ratio of 90:6:4. According to the invention, during plastic deformation of the material, the energy generated by external force action on the material can be absorbed and changed into storage energy in the material, so that fracture does not occur. Therefore, plastic ceramics also can be widely used as a protective shell of instruments and equipment and other impact resistant and high load components, and are not broken after falling and hit. By means of hammer dropping experiment, the silicon nitride ceramic produced by the steps shows obvious plastic deformation, and the deformation rate exceeds 10%.
