The invention relates to an intelligent road sweeping robot and a using method. Through the technical scheme, the intelligent road sweeping robot comprises a robot body, wherein the robot body comprises a mechanical driving layer, a data collection layer and a functional layer; a driving unit is arranged at the bottom of the mechanical driving layer; the functional layer is arranged at the upper part of the mechanical driving layer; the functional layer comprises a motor, a lead screw and mechanical arms; the mechanical arms are placed on two sides of the functional layer; the motor and the lead screw are arranged inside the functional layer; the motor drives the lead screw to rotate; the lead screw is connected with a push plate; the push plate drives a sliding plate to move front and back; after the sliding plate is completely exposed out of the functional layer, the sliding plate can hang freely, and a ramp is formed with the ground surface; the tail ends of the mechanical arms on the two sides are connected with baffle plates, and the baffle plates can be driven to carry out extension and flexion motion, so that target objects are collected inside the functional layer. The intelligent road sweeping robot has the beneficial effects that a physical original part and structure design with higher flexibility and maneuverability is adopted, and trouble-free operation under severe road environments is guaranteed; a stereoscopic vision system is carried, and intelligent environment analysis and conventional sweeping work without manual interruption are achieved.
