The invention discloses a garbage collecting device on a sweeper. The garbage collecting device comprises a transmission mechanism and a liftable garbage transfer box, wherein a bottom plate is arranged at one end, closest to the ground, of the transmission mechanism; the bottom plate extends into the garbage transfer box; a baffle plate and a rolling brush which is reverse to a wheel rotary direction of the sweeper are arranged in the garbage transfer box; the baffle plate and the rolling brush are arranged in a spaced mode and are used for assisting the rolling brush to enable the garbage to enter a first tank body from the spacing; the baffle plate is further fixed with the bottom plate; the garbage transfer box comprises a first box body and a second box body, and the top walls of the first box body and the second box body are hinged with each other; the first box body is lifted through a lifting mechanism which is fixed on a frame of the sweeper. The garbage collecting device disclosed by the invention has a simple structure, the garbage can be carried into the garbage transfer box as long as the rolling brush rotates by a quarter of a circle, and the garbage is dropped on the bottom plate through its gravity, so that the working effects are relatively high. Besides, the lifting mechanism only needs to drive the first box body to lift, is flexible and convenient, and the power energy resources are saved.
