The invention belongs to the field of paint, and especially relates to a diatom mud paint. The diatom mud paint is composed of, by weight, 10 to 60 parts of diatomite of 200 to 10000 meshes, 3 to 20 parts of high-viscosity adhesive attapulgite of 200 to 600 meshes, 3 to 20 parts of suspending agent attapulgite of 200 to 600 meshes, 15 to 50 parts of bentonite of 200 to 2000 meshes, 2 to 30 parts of orange peel dried powder of 100 to 800 meshes, 2 to 30 parts of shaddock peel dried powder of 100 to 800 meshes, 2 to 30 parts of lemon peel dried powder of 100 to 800 meshes, 2 to 30 parts of pineapple peel dried powder of 100 to 800 meshes, 1 to 20 parts of tea dried powder of 100 to 1000 meshes, 5 to 45 parts of active carbon of 100 to 2000 meshes, 1 to 15 parts of formaldehyde lyase, 1 to 10 parts of nano titanium dioxide, and 1 to 10 parts of a pigment. Production cost is low; and the diatom mud paint is capable of removing formaldehyde, purifying air, sterilizing, and deodorizing.
