The invention relates to a tower type intelligent garage which comprises at least one layer of garage bodies and at least one lifting mechanism capable of reaching each layer of garage bodies. Each layer of garage bodies comprises multiple annularly-distributed parking spaces, at least one lifting vacancy and one transition parking space located between the annularly-distributed parking spaces and the lifting vacancies, the lifting mechanisms can reach the lifting vacancies of each layer, a rotation mechanism is arranged at the bottom of each transition parking space, and the transition parking spaces can be in butt joint with the lifting mechanisms and the parking spaces through the rotation mechanisms. The automatic vehicle conveying and parking are achieved in a rotary butt joint mode, and the tower type intelligent garage is simple in structure, high in automation and intelligence level and safe and convenient to use, and vehicle access time can be less than 60 seconds.
