The padlock mechanism can be matched with a bolt for fastening the switch cabinet cover plate and comprises a padlock and a matched part; the matched part comprises a box cover and a bottom pate; the box cover comprises a top face with a concave position and a bottom face with a first padlock plate; a first lock hole is formed in the first padlock plate; the bottom plate comprises a fixing plate and a second padlock plate which are connected; the middle of the fixing plate is provided with a through hole used for installation of the bolt; the end, away from the second padlock plate, of the fixing plate is rotationally installed on the top face of the box cover through a rotary shaft; a second lock hole is formed in the second padlock plate; the end, away from the fixing plate, of the second lock plate faces the box cover; when the padlock penetrates through the first lock hole and the second lock hole, the box cover and the bottom plate are locked, and the through hole is located above the opening of the concave position. The padlock mechanism is simple in structure and convenient to use, can effectively protect the switch cabinet cover plate when the switch cabinet cover plate fastened with the bolt is detached, maintainers are prevented from detaching the electrified switch cabinet cover plate by mistake, and risk of personal injury is avoided.
