The invention discloses a concealed door chain which is suitable for both inward-opening doors and outward-opening doors and does not damage the formats of door pockets. The concealed door chain comprises a fastener seat, a sliding chain and a fixing sleeve, wherein an inner cylinder body is arranged in the fixing sleeve; a driving device is arranged on the inner cylinder body and used for driving the concealed door chain to be locked or unlocked; the inner cylinder body is located in a door panel, so that the driving device can be arranged on the inner side of the door panel; without a burglar-proof switch, the fastener seat can be optionally arranged on the inner side and the outer side of a door pocket, so that no matter the concealed door chain is applied to an inward-opening door or an outward-opening door, the driving device is always located on the inner side of the door; meanwhile, the fastener seat dispensing with a fixed switch is simpler in structure, so that the size of the fastener seat can be greatly reduced, a wired gate of the door pocket cannot be damaged, the exposed surface area of the fastener seat is reduced correspondingly, and the structure of the whole door is more attractive; the concealed door chain is suitable for being popularized in the door control hardware field.
