The invention discloses an outdoor door with a vertical shielding function. The outdoor door comprises a driving bearing system fixed to the top of a door hole of an outdoor wall, an upper portion door body frame connected to the driving bearing system and capable of rotating with the driving bearing system as the axis, a middle driven roll shaft connected to the lower portion of the upper portion door body frame, a lower portion door body frame connected with the middle driven roll shaft, and a lower driven roll shaft connected to the lower portion of the lower door body frame. A pair of upper bases kept in the horizontal state all the time are fixed to the ends of the two sides of the driving bearing system respectively. A pair of lower bases kept in the horizontal state all the time are fixed to the ends of the two sides of the lower driven roll shaft. A multi-stage telescopic rod is fixed between each upper base and the corresponding lower base. An upper portion door plate and a lower portion door plate are fixed to the upper portion door body frame and the lower portion door body frame respectively. The whole outdoor door plays a role in house locking thievery prevention and indoor and outdoor space division of the door in the closed state; the outdoor door can be converted into a horizontal building component with the functions of shielding vertical rain and snow and objects falling from high places after being opened, the outdoor door meets the requirements for green building energy conservation and material saving, and the building sense of beauty is enriched.
