A window alarm guardrail provided with a vertical type elastic connecting piece comprises the elastic connecting piece, guardrail rods and alarm equipment arranged on the guardrail rods. Steel wires are bent to form an upper rod, an elastic body and a lower rod, the guardrail rods are fixed to the upper rod in parallel in the mode of enabling bolts to penetrate through installation holes in fixing plates, and the alarm equipment is arranged inside one guardrail rod pipe. The lower rod is fixed to a windowsill in the mode of enabling a bolt to penetrate an installation hole in a corresponding fixing plate. When a person climbs or treads the window alarm guardrail under the assistance of external force, the elastic body of the connecting piece will be twisted by a certain angle, and an alarm host connected with the elastic body sends out alarm information according to a set alarm procedure; an internet of things can be formed through the network, so that remote control is achieved.
