The invention aims at providing a device which can ensure normal lighting of all households at the ground floor all season. The device comprises a semiarc-shaped transparent container, a water intake device, a water outgoing device and a container bottom fixing frame. After a building is built, the device of which the size is in accordance with that of a roof is customized according to the size of the roof, the device can be made into multiple short assembly units to be jointed together, and therefore the whole roof can be covered. The bottom fixing frame is fixed at the top of the building, then water is supplied for the device through the water intake device until all the units are full, light rays can generate refraction while passing through the device, and therefore the light rays can bypass high and large buildings in the front.
