The invention relates to a heat accumulating type lime rotary kiln which comprises two rotary kiln bodies, a cooler, one or two heat accumulators, one or two blowers, a cooling fan and a flue gas exhaust system, wherein the two rotary kiln bodies are connected with the cooler through a kiln tail hood, and an air port in the upper part of each heat accumulator is connected with the corresponding blower and the flue gas exhaust system respectively through a three-way valve; each heat accumulator adopts a telescoping structure, an inner barrel and an outer barrel are concentrically arranged, annular space is formed between the inner barrel and the outer barrel, and the lower part of the annular space is connected with the corresponding rotary kiln body through corresponding kiln head; the lime rotary kiln further comprises burners and an auxiliary burner, the burners are mounted on the kiln heads, and the auxiliary burner is mounted on the kiln tail hood. The heat accumulators of the heat accumulating type lime rotary kiln adopt the telescoping parallel flow structure, the heat transfer effect is good, and processed materials can be pre-heated uniformly; the two rotary kiln bodies are connected with the heat accumulators through the kiln tail hood to realize preheating of calcined raw materials and combustion air, continuity and stability of lime production are facilitated, and the production capacity is improved.
