The invention discloses a public bicycle system, which comprises public bicycles, a parking table and two upright posts, wherein the parking table is used for locking the public bicycles, the two upright posts are in fixed arrangement, the parking table is in a cross beam shape, the two ends of the parking table are respectively and glidingly connected with the upright posts, the parking table is driven by an ascending and descending driving device and can vertically slide along the upright posts, each public bicycle is provided with a front fork, a bicycle locking support frame is fixedly arranged on the front fork, a lock is arranged on each bicycle lock support frame, and a bicycle locking mechanism matched with the lock for locking the public bicycle is arranged on the parking table. When the public bicycle system is adopted, the space utilization rate is improved.
