The shielding device comprises a fixed latch and a cover plate; the fixed latch is arranged on the side face of the cover plate. Through the way mentioned above, coefficient of difficulty in spraying and mounting is reduced as the novel curtain wall vertical post shields the glass auxiliary frame by utilizing the cover plate, investment of manpower and material resources is reduced, the overall effect of the curtain wall is more beautiful as error generated in the mounting process of the vertical post and the glass auxiliary frame is removed, and higher safety is obtained.
